Whats new?

So whats going on…nothing really. Same old stuff, different day. I am studying for my GMAT which is taking up a lot of time and I think I am not ready for the exam. I keep wondering why I am even taking the GMAT but that’s another story. I think the problem I am having with that exam is the math…I am just horrible at it and every question on that exam aims to confuse/trick you.

Work? Well…nothing new on that front as well. I am happy the industry I am in isn’t affected by what’s going on in Wall Street. I have to start looking for a new job that pays well but I keep thinking now isn’t a great time to do it.

I got an ipod for my dad as a birthday gift. It was a brand new touch and he loves it. Its remarkable how thin it is. My iphone finally works right and I actually did a jailbreak so I can install a bunch of cool stuff on it like themes. I am still playing with it and keep discovering more stuff for it :) .

What else…oh yea! I decided to try out an online dating service. So far, I have been on a few dates. The first date, I actually really like the interests I share with this one guy but…there are more negatives then positives about him. For example…he dresses like a slob, he never calls me (only talks to me when I am on AIM) and is just very unattentive which I hate. I tried talking to him about it but he just got very defensive. The second guy I went out with yesturday seems really nice. He’s really into theater which I dont visit too much due to time constraints and price. I’ll probably go on a second date with him just to see what happens.

Night out

So a co-worker invited me to a free movie tonight… I agreed since I have been wantting to see this one from the previews. Which movie? It was a preview of The Dutchess.

So we get to the theater and stand in line for an hour to get in (the theater was huge so we think…cool, no sweat). After about an hour of standing there waiting, we are told the preview is full which is funny because the line we stood on barely moved…like maybe 10 people got in. They were saying the people that got in and filled that theater had *special* reservations which is such BS.

We ended up seeing another movie which was pretty good. Conclusion: there is no such thing as a fee lunch or in this case, movie. And also, I am soo not seeing that movie in theaters.
