So this Saturday was my first GMAT prep class. Its actually a lot better then Kaplan which was complete and total crap! This particular class actually teaches you the material vs. Kaplan which just gives you the strategy and if you don’t know the material, tough shit. The class went pretty smoothly but my morning…didn’t.

I got out of the house on time but on the train my iPhone died (big suprise right) and it was the one day I actually really needed a working phone because I was meeting a friend right after the class. So my iPhone dies and I don’t remember the address of the class…so I use Kinkos to find the address! My friend thats suppose to attend the class oversleeps because he had too much to drink. I try and do a bank deposit after the class…and my card has expired! off course my bank didn’t send me a new one so now I have to wait until Monday to call them. To top it all off! I decide to go and exchange my iPhone for a new one…which was a great plan except the Apple store on 5th Ave was packed so I had to wait about an hour just to see the tech guy. After about an hour of waiting I finally get a new iPhone which to no surprise…crashed again on me this morning! I am very close to just throwing it on EBay and using just a regular phone + ipod.

The only good thing that happened on Saturday was the class going smoothly and getting to meet my friend despite my phone troubles! I haven’t seen her in years so it was great meeting her and her mom and just walking around the city.

Now I am off to study for the GMAT! I have a ton of homework so it should take a while. I think I’ll just do a few hours a day and won’t obsess about it too much.
